There's a main crux with the way the game wants you to "Play the music by holding X" at any time. The Story tries it's hardest to drive the point of "Making the Music you wanna make" into your brain, only to then go on, to limit musical expression to "Hold X to shred Guitar" and "Play Simon Says", while also omitting any rhythmic Element from the music it forces you to play.Īs everything is supposedly about music and composition, there is a whole other harmonic can of worms to be opened.
